What's Cookin' with Dungeonmans and other things
Hello Dungeonfans! It's been quiet on this front for a while so I just thought I'd check in.
1) Dungeonmans is on sale and Halloween is coming
What a great gift for a friend who likes classic roguelikes with powerful 2010 aura and spooky Halloween content with riddles, candy, and skulls! I'm still quite proud of the Halloween stuff in the game, I wanna do Valentine's next.
Seriously, five bucks! What could be less than five bucks? [dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/288120/Dungeonmans/"][/dynamiclink]
2) This free game you can play right now!
Requires five minutes, a gamepad or mouse, audio you can hear, and the courage to fight for the skies!
Skies of Fight!
It's free during the Steam Sale and at all other times and is also not on Steam. Runs in your browser, but not mobile.
The website also has a lot of words and pictures about why the game exists, if you're curious. Overall I'm very happy with how this turned out. Closest I may ever come to making an "art project".
3) Eye of the Commando is also on sale
Surely you've taken a look at my other dungeon crawling adventure, right? Work continues on this bad boy, it's been in early access longer than I'd like but I'm still making progress daily.
[dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3016480/Eye_of_the_Commando/"][/dynamiclink]4) Dungeonmans 2?
I am always cagey and coy about this because while I know people would be delighted by it, I want to be certain I have a path to actually making the game before I commit to anything. Obviously, there's a lot of ideas and improvements and overall love for the genre that can fill a Dungeonmans 2 with powerful 2020 aura, perhaps even '25. We're at the point where I go to work on dmans 1 and stop myself, thinking the work would be better suited for a sequel. And I would love to see a sequel to Dungeonmans, I think about it quite often.
5) Your reviews still help!
If you haven't left a review for Dungeonmans, or Eye of the Commando, or your other favorite Steam games, why not take a couple minutes and do so? It's the second best thing you can do to help a game succeed, right under directly ordering pizza delivery for the developer.
