Latest Update 0.7 is Live, check out the HQ!

Hey there Spies and Hackers! It has been a bit of a wait since our last update, but we think that you will agree that it was quite worth it. We’ve made a lot of advancements in the build and are very pleased to introduce our 0.7 Update!

But to touch on a few things here in the announcement:

• New storyline teasers

  • Start the game in the KBE HQ

  • talk to your colleagues

• New tutorial

  • a whole new tutorial set within the game’s narrative

  • works in solo and co-op

• New co-op matchmaking via Steam

  • as the spy invite a friend to your game, or join a friend in their game using the Steam invite system.

  • host private or public games

• Talk to your co-op partner with text chat!

• Character voice over!

• Loads of performance improvements

• Better lighting in all the levels

  • We now have indirect lighting for a more natural look

• Overhauled cover system

• Improved 3rd-person camera controls

• Shiny new visual effects

  • Better SSAO and Bloom,

  • New camera feed lens dirt effect

• New options menu

  • customize your key binds!

  • video options

• Hacker gameplay changes and additions

  • Security Cameras now are hacked from the Tactical Map

  • As a test, hacked cameras now have a countdown (let us know what you think)

  • Added Home Node safe zone

• New AI

  • fancy new animations

  • fancy new behaviors

  • fancy new spy killing skills (die you will, if not sneaky you are)

• Bug fixes to the MAX

  • we’re not saying it’s bug free here but check out the list, its pretty significant.
