Duet beta 2023

I've recently added a new beta build of Duet that has some changes to fix the stuttering on Windows 10/11 and some other changes. This is not a free beta, you can only access it if you have already purchased Duet on Steam.

Accessing the Beta

1. Navigate to Duet in your Steam library.

2. Right-click or Control-click Duet and select Properties.

3. Navigate to the BETAS tab.

4. Select beta - Public Beta from the drop down.

5. Install Duet.

Changes

• General changes

  • continuance mode now available (no leaderboards or achievements yet)

  • Added new accessability option in the "video" section: "epilogue: no wrapping".

• Windows

  • Now using ANGLE to render using DIrectX to avoid OpenGL bugs and stuttering.

• MacOS

  • Build is now 64-bit and signed. Should work on the latest version of macOS.

  • Now using ANGLE to render using Metal.

  • Known Issue - the game may ask for "Input Monitoring" permissions to play.

• Linux/SteamOS/Steam Deck

  • no major changes
