May 20 Update – Gun Penetration, Trader Loot, Hull Repair Fix

Captains,

The following changes were applied today, May 20:

• Guns and Carronades Penetration Fall-Off All guns and carronades will now retain penetration force better:

  • medium guns retain penetration 200m longer

  • carronades now retain penetration 200m longer

  • long guns now retain good 90-degree angle penetration until 2km

• Open World and Raider NPC Trader Loot Improved Significantly increased raw resource loot from NPC Traders. Time spent hunting and sinking Traders is now more comparable to the time required to haul resources for shipbuilding and ammunition.

• Hull Repair Bug Fixed We have fixed the bug with hull repairs that did not properly take into account crew transfer if you had fully stacked repair time and repair amount perks.
