Open Testing Updates

In case you missed it, we've been updating the PCE Open Testing Beta app with new features recently. Right now we're in the midst of porting and polishing the new Sandbox playable dinosaurs, including the Brachiosaurus, Compy, Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus and Stegosaurus.

All of these are playable currently in various stages of completion, and will be added to the main game towards the end of August if things stay on track. So far we've already made various stat tweaks and adjustments to them based on tester feedback and we'll continue tweaking them throughout this month.

We've also been testing the new Dual Repeaters weapon for Trapper which should be available as of Meltdown Part 3. It is only accessible via dev console commands currently, but will soon be included in the loadout menu.

Want to try Trapper's new favourite toys right now?

Load up Open Testing, bring up the console by tapping ` or @ and enable cheats, then type:

"GiveMeWeapon DualLevers" (without the quotes - actually, you can copy/paste it)

Like most of the new features in OT, they are still work-in-progress and require some more polishing yet before being added to the main game. We're looking forward to ironing out the kinks with these and seeing how they perform in larger group testing sessions as we get deeper into August.
