[p align="start"]Welcome to our Under Investigation area for Planet Zoo 2. This is an article which is regularly updated with key issues raised on our official issue tracker, alongside the status of planned fixes.

[p align="start"]The team are currently testing fixes to the following issues for the next update; these are not final patch notes:

• Stability & Performance

  • Resolving a number of crashes

  • Resolving several stability and performance issues 

• Save Games

  • When saving your game, we’re improving signposting, to better clarify the saves you have in each location and reduce the risk of overwriting your progress 

• Franchise, Sandbox & Career

  • Resolving a Career issue in Sumatra's Wildlife Reserve which could cause a player to get stuck when receiving a gifted group of Asian Small-Clawed Otters

  • Adjusting the Sandbox setting which prevents animal injuries from fighting, to also prevent animals arriving from trading with injuries in a zoo

• Park Management & Construction

  • Adding downloaded Frontier Workshop habitat blueprints which contain items locked behind research to the blueprints tab in the browser on Franchise. These should show, but display as requiring research to place

  • Resolving an issue which prevented previously placed items from aligning correctly when in different groups 

• Animals & Exhibits

  • Resolving a number of species getting stuck spinning on the spot

  • Resolving an issue which could cause exhibit species to reproduce immediately

  • Further changes to exhibit species breeding, aimed at reducing the frequency at which this occurs

  • Addressing an infrequent issue which could cause male animals to be shown as pregnant.

  • Adding a notification for when an animal has passed quarantine

  • Resolving an issue which meant some animals (particularly birds) could incorrectly trigger escape notifications while remaining inside their habitat

• Wider Settings & Options

  • Resolving an issue affecting the "Play Soundtrack Only in Pause Menu" setting

  • Amending the 'Escape' button's function, to deselect items first before closing menus
