Episode 3 Progress Update #2

(Originally posted by Youko in our Discord server : https://discord.gg/TRuCZZXuwc ) Heya everyone, it's Friday again so time for another update! 🥳

You've probably noticed the constant patches and bug fixes throughout the week! The guys have been working very hard to iron out all remaining bugs and streamlining certain parts of the game so it's a better experience for everyone! Please check through all the patch notes to see what's changed. Special thanks to all the bug reporters out there! We're a very small team and trying to test everything is a huge task in itself... 😓 We're also working on fixing a bunch of less obvious typos, so keep those bug reports coming!

On the writing side of things, I've continued work on the breaks leading into the next free roam period. I'm about 90%~ done, so they should be completed either today or Monday. This break actually features some of the longest breaks ever with several semi-branching conclusions based on prior break events. The average wordcount/scene is around 1.1k words, so you should expect to see a few different scenarios depends on prior actions and actions. Not all of this is accessible, however. Approximately 1/4 of this content is locked behind NG+. As easy as it would be just hold off on NG+ content until episode 4 (where it releases), doing the bulk of writing and planning work now will ensure the transition is smooth and the gap between episode releases remains as small as possible. Hopefully, all this effort pays off and we don't end up in another editing-cycle-hell moment again!😅

See you next Friday and thanks for supporting the game! 🥰
