World Championship DLC Improvements

We are delighted to see that you are enjoying the new expansion. We continue to read all your feedback and implement improvements for the game based on your requests.

New Features

• [New feature] - The game now remembers your formation and footballer placements before anyone was called up for international duty. Once the last footballer returns from the national team, the formation reverts to how it was prior to the call-ups.

• [New feature] - On the match viewing planning screen, you can now select any team by clicking on it. A button will appear, allowing you to schedule all matches for this team in this tournament.

• [New feature] - The game now remembers your search settings and the list of found footballers during a play session.

• [New feature] - Previously, if you uploaded an image for a national team logo, you could not revert to the default flag. We have added a "Reset" button.

Bug Fixes

• [Bug fixed] - Under certain circumstances, the player's team footballers lost their specialisation abilities. We have fixed this bug. In existing saves, the game will attempt to restore the lost abilities, though it might not always match the original setup exactly.

• [Bug fixed] - Sometimes, when returning from a loan, footballers lost their specialisation points. This made it look as though the footballer played matches while on loan, but their specialisation did not progress.

• [Bug fixed] - After a player's match, the up/down arrows showing changes in league standings on the Tables screen displayed incorrectly if the player had previously viewed other matches in the league.

• [Bug fixed] - If you restart the World Championship 2026 mode after a victorious final, the subsequent final will display the wrong year on the winner's shield.

• [Bug fixed] - Fixed rendering issues with certain Chinese characters.

• [Bug fixed] - Fixed an issue with loading the DR Congo mod.

• [Crash fixed] - If a player scheduled a national team match for the following season, the viewing might fail to occur under certain fixture schedule configurations. Consequently, the game crashed whenever the player attempted to load that save.

• [Crash fixed] - The game could crash during the international call-up phase if a national team squad was full and had no plans to alter its main lineup.

• [Crash fixed] - The game could crash on the Club Economy screen when viewing footballers sold last season.

• [Crash fixed] - The game could crash post-match because, under certain highly rare circumstances, clubs in countries with Minimal Presence attempted to take some actions they didn't mean to do.
