New update available

We’ve released a new update for Civilization III today, addressing issues encountered by players after a previous update that removed GameSpy implementation in multiplayer matches. This update also removes the in-game Steam overlay; otherwise, the game functions identically to the previous version. Save game data should not be negatively impacted. If you own a physical disc version of Civilization III and are interested in receiving this multiplayer update, please submit a support request.
