Hotfix v1.5.0.31836

Greetings, magnificent modders!

We’ve released a hotfix for a critical issue that’s been affecting some eager modding enthusiasts.

---

Hotfix v1.5.0.31836 Changes:

• Fixed an issue where trying to add mods to an existing save before it was upgraded to the latest version would corrupt the save.

Huge thanks to everyone who reported this issue. This fix will prevent the corruption from occurring in the future and allow some saves that have been corrupted to be recovered. If you’ve been affected by this issue please try updating the game and loading your world save again, the fix we’ve applied is intended to undo the corruption in many cases (the less you played after the corruption occurred, the more likely your save is to be recoverable).

There are hotfixes for more bugs on the way (like the corrupted pepper data), but we wanted to make sure this fix got out ASAP once it was reported. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

If you are getting a Fatal Error Crash, uninstall your unofficial mods.

• Abiotic Factor now has official mod support!

• If you choose to use any unofficial mods, please be aware that we're unable to provide support if something breaks.

• If you are experiencing crashes or other issues and have any unofficial mods installed, please try uninstalling the mods before attempting to run the game again.

• You may want to completely clear your files and reinstall the game, as there’s been cases where an uninstalled unofficial mod still leaves some sneaky files behind.

• Any official mods you have downloaded will be automatically disabled until the creator of the mod updates the mod to be compatible with this new version of Abiotic Factor.

• If you are experiencing crashes or other issues and have official mods enabled in your game, please try disabling them before reloading your world save.
