Thank You and a Hot Fix

First off, a huge thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome around the launch of Halo Wars: Definitive Edition on Steam! We're thrilled to be here and greatly appreciate your support.

Speaking of support, we’ve been monitoring community feedback closely since launch and we’ve just released a hot-fix to address a few issues that have been reported by players.

The hotfix moves Universal CRT to App-Local deployment, so users should no longer have to manually install VC redists. It also removes a dependency on Windows Media Foundation, which was affecting players with Windows N editions.

We’re aware of a few other issues and are working diligently to resolve them – further updates are on the way.
