Major Updates

New Mastermind: Ace

Ace

Your fighter with the most damage dealt each wave permanently gains 40 HP and 1.5% attack speed.

Strategy tips:

• Fighters with damage reduction, evasion, or regeneration, like Green Devil, Yozora, and Bone Crusher make good use of the HP.

• Ramping fighters like Sky Queen, Berserker, and Doppelganger make good use of the attack speed.

• Some fighters like Priestess, Lumerian, and melee DPS make good use of the HP and attack speed.

• Expensive fighters generally benefit more from Ace.

New Skin: Hellfire Iron Maiden

PvE

Just for this patch, we're testing PvE as a separate queue!

The goal is to make everyone happier. PvE players can enjoy PvE 24/7, and classic players can enjoy good ole classic 24/7. If queue times are reasonable, we'll consider keeping this change long-term.

Game Balance

King

**King **

• Base health decreased by 13%

• Base autoattack damage increased by 200%

• Lightning Hammer: Percent health damage: 2% --> 0%

• Increased per-wave king scaling slightly

• Upgrade Spell: 6% → 8%

• Upgrade Attack: 10% → 8%

• Fixed a bug where Rocko's Impale was doing too much damage to the king (decreased max stacks against the king from 10 --> 5)

These changes make the king stronger against big mercenaries in the early game and smooth out its power against waves (was previously too weak on waves 6, 13, and 18 and too strong on wave 20).

Legion Spells

**All Out Assault **

Mythium: 110 → 100

Income: -20 → -12

All Out Assault was too coin-flippy.

**Magic Lamp **

Gold: 13 → 10

Very high pick rate. Magic Lamp shouldn't be the default choice, but rather a calculated one.

**Smite **

Gold: 75 → 78

Slightly low pick rate and win rate.

**Protector **

HP regeneration: 0.6% → 0.8%

Low win rate.

Fighters

**Peewee / Veteran **

Attack speed decreased by 2%

Slightly high pick rate and win rate.

**Harpy / Sky Queen **

Attack speed increased by 2%

Slightly low pick rate and win rate.

**Pyro **

Attack speed increased by 2%

Low win rate.

**Kingpin **

Base damage decreased by 2%

Slightly high pick rate and win rate.

**Gateguard / Harbinger **

Attack speed decreased by 3%

High win rate.

**Violet **

Mana regeneration increased by 6%

Slightly low pick rate and win rate.

**Lumerian **

Attack speed decreased by 2%

High pick rate and slightly high win rate.

**King Claw **

Shell Shock: Damage: 80 → 85

**Whitemane **

Council: Damage reduction: 5 + 10% → 4 + 10%

Slightly high pick rate and high win rate.

Mercenaries

**Needler **

Damage increased by 1.5%

Low usage rate.

**Centaur **

Damage increased by 2%

Low usage rate.

Balance Watchlist

The dev team is constantly monitoring game balance, between looking at data and listening to community feedback. If anything is being more closely monitored than usual, it will be listed in this Balance Watchlist section. For this patch, the following are on the watchlist:

• Strong: Scrapper, Elite Archer, Mr. Brewpot

• Weak: Ranger, Yozora, Aqua Spirit

Improvements

• Fixed an issue where community creation purchases didn’t go through the first time.

• Fixed Bulgarian font

• Fixed a bug causing the “delete old logs” popup to take priority over item unlocks

• Fixed Moneylender bug that allowed you to lend with the previous waves values, after already having received income from that wave

• Improved Savior tooltip
