Skyrim Special Edition's Survival Mode

Skyrim Creation Club’s all-new Survival Mode, is now available on Steam beta. You can be one of the first to check it out by simply opting-into the beta.

Survival Mode adds new gameplay features and challenges to transform Skyrim into a land of unrelenting cold and harsh wilderness.

Instructions for how to opt-in to the beta are provided below. Before you do that, there are a few important details to note. We welcome your feedback and thoughts on what you’d like to see and any issues you run into. You are encouraged to let us know here on Steam or in our Official Beta Forums.

Please Note: Once you opt-in to the Skyrim Creation Club beta, Survival Mode will no longer work if you back out. Additionally, we cannot accept any feedback or aid in any issues experienced if you opt-in to the beta with mods installed.

Last but not least, please be sure to back up your saves before opting in to the beta.

Instructions on how to access the beta:

• Log into Steam.

• Right Click on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition in your Library.

• Select Properties.

• Select Betas.

• A drop down menu will appear. Select the available beta option

• Select OK.

• Wait for the game to update.
