The Bus DLC – Hamburg City: Route 17 Extension to Karlshöhe Now Available!

The Wait Is Over: The Hamburg City DLC Update for The Bus Is Now Available!

The highly anticipated update for The Bus DLC – Hamburg City is now available on all platforms.

With this new version, Route 17 has been extended beyond Bramfelder Dorfplatz to Karlshöhe. The update is free for all owners of the Hamburg DLC, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In recent weeks, we have provided several updates on the development of the route extension and introduced various locations along the new section. Now you can explore the extension for yourself and drive your buses along the newly added section of Route 17.

The route continues from its previous terminus at Bramfelder Dorfplatz, following Bramfelder Chaussee and Berner Chaussee to Petzolddamm and the bus turning loop at Karlshöhe.

Along the new section, you will discover numerous new buildings, shops, and other landmarks inspired by their real-world counterparts. These include residential areas, shopping facilities, various service businesses, and other typical features of Hamburg's urban landscape.

The high level of detail is particularly evident around the new terminus at Karlshöhe. The petrol station and the residential buildings surrounding the bus turning loop have been recreated with great attention to detail, providing an authentic environment.

Karlshöhe Is Not the Final Destination

With the release of this expansion, development of Route 17 is not yet complete. At a later date, the route is planned to be extended further from Karlshöhe to Berne U-Bahn station.

However, this will still take some time. Development efforts are currently focused on the two upcoming DLCs, Lübeck and London South, which have priority for now.

The Update Is Available Now on All Platforms

If you already have The Bus DLC – Hamburg City installed, the new version will be available through the respective update function on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox.

If you install the DLC for the first time, the latest version, including the extended Route 17, will be downloaded automatically.

We hope you enjoy exploring the new route and wish you a safe and enjoyable journey through Hamburg!
