2026.1 Patch 21

Dear captains,

There is a new patch available for update 2026.1. Changelog:

Missions:

• Fix: In Enigma recovery assignment, if the wreck disappears for any reason, it's respawned where it should be.
• Fix: Resolved general issue that could break mission scripts.
• Fix: Mission with upgrading from Type IIA U-boat wasn't progressing as intended when port menu was open.
• Fix: Blockade in the assignment with planting the mines, where objective was asking to free up space for 0 mines.

UI:

• The button in port menu to visit the quarters is now accessible for blockades that last less than 30 minutes.
• The skip menu is now always automatically set to wait out for the next event rather than maxing out the waiting time on the slider.
• Fix: Resolved an issue with dialogues with port officers not working in certain cases.
• Fix: Issue with being unable to leave an assignment selection screen.
• Fix: Course to view button wasn't working consistently. Some clicks had no effect due to physics race condition.
• Fix: Issue with arriving letters/newspapers cutscene not working correctly when port menu was open.

Graphics:

• Fix: Various graphical artifacts in the model of sunk U-boat in Enigma recovery assignment cutscenes.
• Fix: Underwater particle effect in Enigma recovery assignment cutscene wasn't properly faded at the edges.
• Fix: Resolved an issue with purple eyes appearing on some sailors.

Type IX:

• Fix: Chest used by a sailor to block one of the leaks in the control room was blocking access to the ladder and causing various pathfinding issues.

General:

• Fix: Resolved an issue with being unable to save the game state in long playthroughs. Decreased a save file size in long playthroughs.
• Fix: Resolved an issue with black screen after loading a save file saved in a certain situation or switching to a torpedo station after the assigned character died.
• Fix: Issue with pathfinding on Type IX conning towers, that could sometimes make characters stuck.
