KARDS Fall Tournament Finals: August 21 and 22

The road to the KARDS World Championship reaches its final stage this weekend.

On August 21 and 22 at 11:00 UTC, eight of KARDS’ best Commanders will take to the battlefield in the final seasonal tournament of the year. With three World Championship spots on the line, this is the last chance to qualify.

The Final Push

Thirty-two challengers entered the Fall Tournament. After qualifiers and Swiss rounds, only eight remain.

Now they face their last test: a single-elimination battle for the Fall Champion title, a 3,000 USD prize pool, and a **place at the **World Championship.

Battle-Tested Strategies

Oceania Storm has now had time to settle into the competitive landscape, with new cards, ANZAC forces, and Weather strategies tested and refined throughout the season. The Fall Finals arrive with competitors having spent the summer learning what works and what doesn't.

Preparation gets them this far. Who adapts best once the match is underway?

The Format

The Finals will be fought as a** single-elimination, best of five bracket**. Each Commander brings four decks from different main nations and** bans one opposing deck** each round.

Lose the quarterfinal, and the run is over. Lose the semifinal, and there's still one last chance: the two semifinal losers meet in a third-place match, with the winner claiming the final World Championship spot of the year.

With limited room for error, success will demand more than strong draws. Commanders will need to read their opponents, anticipate their strategies, and adapt from one battle to the next.

After Sunday, the World Championship field is complete. Sixteen Commanders will compete for a 12,000 USD prize pool and the title of KARDS World Champion in October.
