The Brand-New DLC “Huaxia Nine Regions: Water Margin” Arrives August 18!

Wind and clouds gather at Liangshan Marsh, as the heroes’ spirit shakes the land! “Huaxia Nine Regions：Water Margin,”, an all-new historical scenario DLC, will officially launch on all platforms on August 18!

We sincerely invite heroes from all walks of life to gather at Liangshan Marsh and experience the turbulent history of the Northern Song Dynasty.

“Huaxia Nine Regions：Water Margin” — Full DLC Content Overview

I. Brand-New Historical Map

1.The entire world map and regional maps have been completely reconstructed, with decorations such as mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas redrawn from the ground up.

2.The new map is based on the distribution of forces across China during the reign of Emperor Huizong of the Northern Song Dynasty. In addition to the Northern Song, new factions such as Liao, Western Xia, Dali, the Western Regions, and Tubo have been added. The administrative structure has also been redesigned according to historical records. Taking the Northern Song as an example, Lu served as the highest-level administrative division, with the empire divided into 24 Lu.

3.Ports have been removed from the new map, while a large number of cities and strategic passes have been added, bringing the total number of settlements and strongholds to 164.

II. Stronghold System

1.A dedicated capital-city system designed specifically for stronghold factions, featuring simplified city management and new stronghold-exclusive functions.

2.Strongholds come in three levels: Small, Medium, and Large. Each stronghold contains five internal areas: Council Hall, Industries, Barracks, Tavern, and Port. Players can invest resources to upgrade the stronghold’s size and increase its income through industrial development.

III. Star General System

1.All 108 Water Margin heroes are categorized into the Tiangang (Heavenly Spirits) and Disha (Earthly Fiends), represented as 108 Star Generals.

2.At the beginning of the game, players will automatically receive 15 Water Margin generals. The remaining generals can be recruited by spending resources.

3.Special Feature: Star Generals will never leave your faction or defect to another faction.

IV. Troop Type Improvements

1.All troop types have been redesigned for Water Margin, including 7 basic troop types and 36 special troop types.

(The troop models continue to use the models from the Last Warlord.)

2.Special troop types are differentiated by faction, with each faction having its own unique special troops.

V. All-New Generals

1.All generals in Water Margin have been newly created based on historical figures, with more than 1,200 generals in total. They have also received brand-new portraits, while famous generals are additionally equipped with full character illustrations. Over 100 illustrations are currently available, with more to be added in future updates.

2.Famous generals are also equipped with unique skills and equipment sets.

(The unique skills continue to use the existing skill system from the Last Warlord.)
