VAIL 1.13 - The Hydra Update

HYDRA

This update adds the first Archangel to Extraction: Hydra, featuring all new attacks and abilities including a deadly flamethrower.

Hydra can currently be found in a new layout for Labs in Reyn. This new blockout has been redesigned to accommodate Hydra. It is a work in progress that still needs a lot of work to bring it up to the quality of the old layout, while allowing space for a challenging fight.

Once defeated, Hydra will drop Hydra Cores. It has a small chance to drop other loot and even the brand new Hydra Supply Crate. To open this crate, players must successfully extract with it first.

ACCESSORIES

Available exclusively in the Hydra Supply Crate are brand new accessories in the form of a Hydra mask. This is a pop on that is placed on top of any character skin you already have equipped.

Additionally, the Hydra Supply Crate features a variety of exclusive Hydra themed cosmetics for both factions and all weapons.

REVOLUTIO

Then next prestige, level 10 is out. It is the last of the Origins series. Future prestiges will explore lore about the present day.

GENERAL CHANGES

• Added Prestige 10: Revolutio

• Extraction Angels now explode on death

• Enabled an Extract siren when enemies are close to your Extract point

• Added the ability for downed players to move slowly

• Added new audio to the revive interaction

• Re-added the original 1v1 version of Maar to the game under the name MaarAlt

• Fixed Extraction loot popup not showing ammo tiers

• Improved performance and fixed lighting issues on Tube

• Improved performance on Quarry
