Thunderstorms Approaching — Themed Maps Coming Soon

The fourth phase of returning maps will go live following the April 16 update!

The new rotation of themed maps features three battlefields: Heilung Fjord - Thunderstorm, Broch Eastray - Thunderstorm, and La Grande Gloire - Thunderstorm.

[Northern Tempest] Themed Maps

In this rotation, all three maps will feature the Thunderstorm weather variant. Under looming dark clouds and flashing lightning, the familiar battlefields feel far more oppressive, with danger thick in the air. During thunderstorms, units will suffer debuffs ranging from reduced line of sight and lowered fire damage, to a chance for the Musket to misfire. Warlords must flexibly adapt their unit compositions to the shifting conditions of the battlefield.

I. Heilung Fjord - Thunderstorm

Points A and B are situated on the left and right flanks respectively. With an interlacing network of wooden bridges, waterways, and camps, Heilung Fjord has always been a highly unpredictable battlefield. Defenders can leverage the terrain to mount a layered defense, while attackers must strike a balance between frontal assaults and flanking maneuvers to find their opening.

In the end, victory is rarely decided by overpowering a single lane, but rather by who can first spot and exploit vulnerabilities across the complex, multi-point routes.

II. Broch Eastray - Thunderstorm

Highlands, ruins, mountain paths, and lakeshores shape the battlefield framework of Broch Eastray, while flaming catapults and traps hang like a sword over the attackers' heads.

Attackers must seize opportunities to steadily advance through the complex terrain, whereas defenders leverage elevation differences and firepower to mount a layered defense.

Amidst the fierce storm, blood mixes with mud. The relentless tug-of-war over key points in the mire becomes the absolute crux of this battle.

III. La Grande Gloire - Thunderstorm

In this map, both sides clash fiercely over the bridge. The bridgehead, side paths, and the central corridor dictate the offensive pacing of the entire map. Once the bridge is no longer safe, both sides must immediately adapt their advance routes and defensive deployments. Given the constant artillery threat over key areas, combat on this map frequently escalates into an intense, grueling tug-of-war.
