Adds medium and large defense platforms, capacity technologies, and the Defense Grid Quantum Mainframe.

Defense Platforms

Both sizes have 4 independently selectable weapon sections. Weapon options are per section; defensive and auxiliary slots are totals for the entire platform.

Medium Defense Platform

• Per section: 4S / 2M / 1L / 2G / 1H / 4P

• Defensive slots: 12M + 12L; auxiliary slots: 4A

• Uses 3 defense platform capacity

Large Defense Platform

• Per section: 8S / 4M / 2L / 4G / 2H / 8P / 1X

• Defensive slots: 24L; auxiliary slots: 6A

• Uses 12 defense platform capacity; supports up to 4 X-slot weapons

S/M/L: small/medium/large weapons; G: torpedoes; H: hangars; P: point defense; X: extra-large weapons; A: auxiliary slots.

Once unlocked, platforms can be built at normal starbases of every tier, Deep Space Citadels, and Orbital Rings, provided sufficient platform capacity is available. Appearance automatically matches vanilla shipsets; third-party shipsets are not specifically supported.

• Medium Defense Platforms (Engineering): Unlocks medium platforms.

• Large Defense Platforms (Rare Engineering): Unlocks large platforms.

• System Defense Planning (Society): +4 platform capacity.

• System Defense Coordination (Society): +5 platform capacity.

• System Defense Network (Society): +7 platform capacity.

• Defense in Depth (Rare Society): +4 platform capacity and unlocks the Defense Grid Quantum Mainframe.

Defense Grid Quantum Mainframe

• +6 local platform capacity, +10% platform fire rate, and +20% platform build speed.

• Cost: 800 alloys + 50 rare crystals.

• Available at Citadels, Deep Space Citadels, and Orbital Rings.

• Can coexist with the vanilla Defense Grid Supercomputer; each uses one building slot.
