Описание автора

Gundam - Universal Century: Perfectability

Gundam - Universal Century: Perfectability brings the legendary conflict of the Universal Century to Stellaris, fully modernized and updated for version 4.5 "Cygnus".

Step into the shoes of the Earth Federation or the Principality of Zeon, establish strategic manufacturing corporate pipelines, train diverse pilot corps, and deploy iconic Mobile Suits across the galaxy.

How It Works

  1. Empire Creation: In the empire creation screen, select the Leader Trait corresponding to the Universal Century era of Mobile Suits you wish to deploy—spanning all the way from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin to Hathaway.

  2. Traditions & Doctrines: In-game, unlock the traditions tied to your chosen era trait. (Note: select foundational units, such as the Guntank Early Type, are accessible even without traditions).

  3. Research & Assembly: Research your faction's Mobile Suit technologies, configure their loadouts in the Ship Designer, and deploy them to your fleets!

Core Mechanics: The Mobile Suit War Machine

To field Mobile Suits, your empire must sustain a complex tri-resource logistics network:

1. Luna Titanium

  • The foundational strategic alloy required for high-grade Mobile Suit chassis.
  • Produced by specialized industrial complexes: Anaheim Electronics for Federation factions (EFSF, EFSF Dakar, Titans, AEUG, Londo Bell) and Zeonic Company for Zeon factions (Zeon, Delaz Fleet, Axis, Neo Zeon, The Sleeves).

2. Mobile Suits (Industrial Capacity)

  • Represents your empire's dedicated heavy manufacturing capacity.
  • Every Mobile Suit requires this resource to be assembled. Advanced frontline suits demand significantly higher industrial investment, while colossal Mobile Armors—such as the formidable Neo Zeong—require immense production commitments.

3. Pilots

“Victory is never determined by mobile suit performance alone—nor is it decided by the skill of the pilot alone.” — Kira Yamato

Produced by flight academies and specialized research laboratories, pilots form the backbone of your combat effectiveness and are divided into five distinct tiers:

  • Greens (Rookies): Inexperienced pilots suffering from noticeable performance drawbacks in the cockpit.
  • Veterans: Reliable frontline pilots with combat experience; grant solid offensive buffs with no operational penalties.
  • Aces: The pinnacle of Oldtype talent. Immensely capable with major combat buffs, but expensive to train and maintain.
  • Newtypes: Rare awakened individuals capable of interfacing with Psycommu systems. They are immune to the heavy "-100% Strike Craft damage & speed" debuff applied to standard pilots, unlocking the true lethality of funnels, bits, and remote weaponry.
  • Cyber-Newtypes: Artificially engineered Newtypes. While far easier to mass-produce, their severe emotional and psychological instability manifests in game as critical penalties to hull health, armor resilience, and tactical disengagement/retreat chance.

Ground Armies, Leaders & Technology

Mobile Suit Ground Formations Planetary assaults feature five dedicated Mobile Suit ground armies reflecting their assigned pilot echelon:

  • Mobile Suit Conscripts Battalion (Greens)
  • Mobile Suit Brigade (Veterans)
  • Mobile Suit Ace Squad (Aces)
  • Mobile Suit Newtype Fireteam (Newtypes)
  • Mobile Suit Cyber-Newtype Fireteam (Cyber-Newtypes)

Awakened Leaders: Newtypes & Cyber-Newtypes Once you research the Newtype technology (enabling your empire to accurately identify awakened individuals) and the Cyber-Newtype technology (allowing their artificial mass production), newly recruited and existing leaders have a chance to acquire unique Newtype or Cyber-Newtype traits. These traits bestow powerful faction, fleet, and planetary benefits, though Cyber-Newtype leaders come tempered with erratic traits reflecting their canonical psychological instability.

Doctrine & Ethics: The Burden of Command While Mobile Suit hulls are unlocked via your chosen tradition path, Pilot technologies appear from the start and advance progressively: Green → Veteran → Ace → Newtype → Cyber-Newtype

As casualties mount and fleets burn, every commander faces grim moral and logistical dilemmas: Will you invest precious resources into elite Aces despite their crippling cost, or throw waves of terrified rookie conscripts into the meat grinder once the veterans run dry? Will you sacrifice battlefield numbers waiting for natural Newtypes to awaken, or embrace the moral abyss and mass-produce mentally fractured Cyber-Newtypes to hold the line?

The choice is yours.

Strategic Atrocities: Colony Drops & Gassing Doctrines

Fully integrated with (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3811476508)]War Crimes Expanded (WCE), total war in the Universal Century extends to orbital kinetic extinction and biochemical slaughter.

Colony Drops Research the Tier 4 Engineering tech Colony Drop Doctrine. Enact the Colony Drop Operation decision on an owned space habitat for 1,500 Luna Titanium and 1,000 Alloys to convert it into a civilian Colony Cylinder ship over 100 days. Move the cylinder to an enemy world, right-click, and select Drop to choose from five targeting doctrines:

  1. Military HQ

  2. Metropolis

  3. Agricultural basins

  4. Heavy industry

  5. Cluster strike

Colony Gassing (GG Gas) Select any Mobile Suit army, right-click an enemy space colony or habitat, and choose Gas. It purges 97% of the population with biochemical agents and immediately transfers ownership of the intact habitat to your empire (though it leaves behind certain blockers).

Psychic Resonance (Newtype Backlash) Mass orbital slaughter reverberates across the void. Attackers face either light psychic backlash (Echoes of the Dead) or severe empire-wide trauma (Newtype Lament: -50% Newtype output, -20% leader XP gain).

Note: Gassing and Colony Drops function entirely standalone, but War Crimes Expanded adds infamy and galactic consequences to give these crimes true meaning. It is completely optional, but recommended for full immersion!
