This mod is maintained as a spare-time project. I use AI-assisted tools such as Codex/ChatGPT for compatibility work, cleanup tasks, and the supplemental name pool.
All files are still reviewed locally before publishing. Testing is limited and focuses on obvious compatibility issues, file conflicts, and basic in-game validation. Very large galaxies can still be unstable depending on system performance, game version, load order, and other active mods.
Overview
This mod adds 16 more galaxy sizes.

Gameplay Notes
Very large galaxies can heavily impact performance and stability. The two biggest sizes may crash your game.
Sizes smaller than vanilla "Tiny" use the same restricted galaxy shape selections as Tiny.
Regular empire caps are intentionally kept per size for stability and setup balance. Custom sizes also define Stellaris 4.4 Nomad empire defaults and maximum values so the new setup values are read correctly.
Names
Earlier versions included Kaseyawolf2's Mod '10 000 star names'. The current version no longer includes that list directly; it uses a cleaned-up custom name pool plus additional AI-assisted names for very large galaxies.
The old numbered fallback names were removed. The supplemental name pool is intended to reduce missing or repetitive names, especially for stars and black holes.
Generated black hole names now include localisation so they should display as readable names instead of raw localisation keys.
If you have a curated list of star or black hole names and want to contribute, feel free to contact me.
Credits
Current preview images were generated with AI assistance using ChatGPT and manually reviewed before publishing. They were created as original sci-fi preview images for this Workshop item and are not intended to reproduce official Stellaris/Paradox logos, key art, or screenshots.
Legacy image credit: earlier versions used artwork created by Giocio.
Compatibility
This version is intended for Stellaris 4.4 'Pegasus'. Older game versions are not supported and may cause broken event popups, invalid first contact events, or crashes because this mod includes refreshed 4.4 vanilla event files.
With the 2.1 'Niven' update this mod is no longer ironman compatible.
Large overhaul mods that also change galaxy generation, crisis behavior, or the same event files may conflict. Compatibility with Gigastructural Engineering is currently not tested and may need a separate compatibility pass.
If you run into issues, please include your Stellaris version, DLC state, whether the issue happens in a new game, your active mod list or load order, and relevant entries from error.log.
4.4 Changes
Updated for Stellaris 4.4 'Pegasus'. The Machine Age and Grand Archive event files were refreshed from current vanilla files and the MGS galaxy-size handling was re-applied.
Additional 4.4 compatibility handling was added for crisis scaling, Tiyanki respawns, Imperial Fiefdom start systems, Nomad setup values, black hole name localisation, and several vanilla script values that branch by galaxy size.
The mod adds extra random names for large galaxies. It does not overwrite the vanilla random name file, but it changes the available star and black hole name pools.

Known Testing Notes
Imperial Fiefdom handling was adjusted so Femto, Pico, Nano, and Mikro behave like vanilla Tiny, while Mini behaves like vanilla Small.
Fallen Empire placement on very full large galaxies is still being investigated. If Fallen Empires fail to spawn or spawn with only one system, please include the galaxy size, regular empire count, Fallen Empire count, mod list, and ideally a save file.
