Inspiration Installation

Overview

Adds new surgeries which allow you to trigger inspirations for your pawns.

Can safely be added and removed from saves.

Requires Harmony.

Features

Any pawns in your colony (including those with races added through mods) can have an Artificial Inspiration Module installed, which when complete triggers a specific inspiration (including inspirations added through mods) these inspirations last for their regular duration (normally 8 days) or until they are used e.g. Inspired Trading. Pawns must still meet the requirements to gain the specific inspiration before a surgery option for that inspiration appears, for example a pawn with a skill level of 2 in Medical cannot be given an Inspired Surgery inspiration.

Artificial Inspiration Modules can be obtained from three sources, they can be bought from traders; they can given as quest rewards or they can be crafted at a fabrication bench after completing the "Artificial Inspiration" research project.

Pawns who multiple undergo inspiration installations over a short period of time may begin to develop a mental condition known as "Inspiration Shock" this is a temporary health condition which slightly decreases the pawns capabilities and increases their chance of mental breaks. Attempting to inspire a pawn who has inspiration shock will worsen the condition, which at a high enough magnitude, causes brain death.

Compatibility

Should be fully compatible with other mods but if you find any incompatibilities please let me know. Any mods which add inspirations automatically have surgeries generated for them.
