Update - July 27, 2021: Pawns that are blind (have 0% Sight) but have prosthesis that add 0% efficiency to their eyes such as EPOE's eyepatches or golden eyes should not cause pawns to lose the Blindsight buff. Please report any issues that could've arose from this update.

Requires Royalty, Ideology and the mod Harmony

Now your pawns are able to gain true sight! Any pawns who follow the Blindsight precept who are also blind will gain a new abilities according to their psylink level. Higher psylink level gives better buffs to the pawns up to level 6. Blindfolds do not give your pawns any new sight buffs and blind pawns with no psylink levels will not receive any buffs. The buffs gained by the new Blindsight buff will offset the negatives of your pawns being blind. Psylink level 1 does not give much, but it is better than no sight at all. At the highest, the buffs are comparable to having Archotech eyes. This means that pawns with psylinks will be able to shoot weapons, construct things, and research at speeds. Pawn hearing is also increased as they adapt to their new sight. Be careful however, the Blindsight buff will disappear if your pawn has their vision restored or if they convert to a new ideology that does not follow Blindsight precepts. Requires Harmony.

Blindsight Levels

As your pawn gains psylink levels their Blindsight level increases as well to match the same level as their psylink. The levels go up to level 6 like psylink levels.

Blindsight: Sightless (Level 0): Pawn has 0% sight. This only happens if a pawn does not have a psylink level. Blindsight: Level 1: Pawn has the equivalent of 25% sight. Like they are wearing a blindfold but a little better. Blindsight: Level 2: Pawn has the equivalent of 50% sight. The same level as a pawn with cataracts in both eyes. Blindsight: Level 3: Pawn has the equivalent of 75% sight. The same level as a pawn who only has one healthy natural eye. Blindsight: Level 4: Pawn has the equivalent of 100% sight. As good as a pawn having two healthy normal eyes. Blindsight: Level 5: Pawn has the equivalent of 125% sight. As good as bionic eyes. Blindsight: Level 6: Pawn has the equivalent of 150% sight. As good and even a little better than archotech eyes.
