Welcome my fellow Ronin!

This mod contains A full set of samurai factions, furniture, gear, weapons, styles, and other items.

This mod is using Vanilla Factions Expanded as a framework so that mod is required.

The item amount and balance should be similar to the other vanilla factions expanded mods.

Added compatibility to erin's Japanese cuisine so you can now cook all the food in the iori. fixed yukata so it shows on the ground correctly. minor item stat tweaks as well.

Fixed armors/shell layer painting over heads and straw coat. Basegame rimworld changed something back in 1.5 so big thanks to the mod below for figuring it out. [Meow] Keep Your Coat Behind Your Hair!

Fixed Base Gen. Adjusted some art like the gi and ninja mask. Added ninja tools. Ninja tools may be used by the ninja faction giving them the VFE stealth mechanic. Adjusted Tech tree and tech tree costs. Added Bushido style breach axe

Updated for 1.6. Sake and the sake brewing process now uses processes like bills instead of icons. Temp range is also a bit more relaxed (just don't let it freeze. Keep it in the passive cooler range and you should be good) and sake now adds hediffs like social bonus or malus and also mood buffs depending on quality.

Added Omi Yari. Thanks to the addition of longer weapons in VFE I added a simple Omi Yari. Just a longer yari to poke people with from a distance. Like that update its similar to the normal yari but slower to attack and can attack a few tiles away.

This mod adds

-Melee weapons- Yari Omi Yari Naginata Katana Odachi Legendary Swords (Masamune and Muramasa) Oni Kanabo (Hi-Tech Stuff)

-Ranged weapons- Shuriken Yumi Tanegashima Matchlock Tanegashima Short Matchlock Hand Mortar Oni Cannon (Hi-Tech Stuff)

-Apparel- Straw hat (heat insulation) Straw coat (cold insulation) Headband (tiny work speed boost) Ninja Mask (increase melee dodge) Ninja Tools (increase melee dodge gives stealth to raiders) Gi (for under armor) Kimono (all around decent insulation) Yukata (heat insulation) Haori (social boost) Kid Komon (child sized clothing decent all weather) Kid Gi (child sized gi, good for combat training)

-Utility- Sashimono (big pain threshold boost) Smoke Bomb (hard to target with range, turrets cant lock)

-Armor- Ashigaru Armor Ashigaru Helmet Samurai Armor Samurai Helmet (pain threshold boost) Daimyo Armor (social boost) Daimyo Helmet (social boost) Oni Helmet (Hi-Tech Stuff) Oni Armor (Hi-Tech Stuff)

-Styles- Bushido Ritual (energetic music and windy effect) Bushido Furniture, Lamps, Column, Torch, Tables, Dining Chair, Stool Bushido Knife, Club, Breach Axe Bushido Helmets, Simple, Flak, Recon, Marine, Cataphract, Prestige Helms Shinto Ritual (calming music and gentle effect) Shinto Sculptures Shinto Ideograms Shinto Knife (Both styles have cherry blossoms falling when doing rituals. Shinto is the religion style and bushido is a stuff style)

-Furniture- Pit Hearth (Irori) Sake Barrel (to ferment sake) Calligraphy Set (joy for artistic)

-Security- Standing Shield (aka Tate, those wooden things archers hide behind)

-Misc- Large Meditation Shrine (nature meditation, can be placed closer to buildings) Meditation Shrine (nature meditation, can be placed closer to buildings)

-Other- Samurai Factions (Honorable, Honorless, Shadowy) 6 Custom Faction Bases Name Generator Storyteller Mifune Misfortune (more events and raids, more help from allies, more population, less disease) Ronin starting scenario (basic start with bushido code tech done) Sake & Sake Brewing (Requires brewing table to turn rice into Moromi. FAQ

Q: Is Vanilla base gen is needed? A: No, Rimpy is using old steam data. I no longer need their code to create bases. I use Vanilla expanded's framework only. It may warn you about dependencies but that is not the case.

Q: Does this work with CE? A: It should be patched in the main CE mod. I don't use that mod and can't verify if it's balanced or not.

Q: Can I just have X stand alone? A: Here is T's Samurai Faction Styles Standalone, T's Storyteller Mifune however everything else like weapons are all going to be in this mod only.

Q: Will you add X item? A: Maybe but I don't want to overload the mod. I want to keep the amount of stuff similar to other faction expanded mods. Feel free to use other item and furniture mods to flesh out the experience.
