Vanilla Storytellers Expanded is a brand new mod series featuring standalone storytellers, bringing new, unique mechanics to the game.

"Rick finally managed to turn himself into a RimWorld character, only to turn your game into hell. Warning: Since Rick takes Randy Random to the extreme and randomizes all the textures and text in your game, you should expect a borderline unplayable level of difficulty. "

RimWorld Rick comes with the following traits:

Good Ol' Switcheroo This storyteller switches text and textures around. You will have devilstrand replacing your terrain textures, your alpacas will look like cars, any text you read will be completely misplaced, and overall you will have a terrible experience.

But you deserve it for reporting bugs without hugslib logs, so there ya go.

Hard Difficulty This storyteller has hard difficulty. It will favour bad events, and any events that happen are tailored to your colony based on it’s wealth, past events, amount of colonists and other factors.

Random Events This storyteller will fire random events without any regard for how your colony is doing. Whilst the events still scale with wealth, their type - good, neutral, bad - is completely random, just like with Randy.

Q: How do I use this storyteller? A: Simply change to this storyteller anytime you want to try and succeed in the impossible game. It is recommended you open and then close both the faction tab and then ideoligion tab before switching, for maximum randomness.

Q: Can I change to this storyteller mid-save? A: Absolutely.

Q: Does it work with Combat Extended? A: Yes!

Q: Will you keep updating the mod with new content? A: This is a singular storyteller mod. Development work on it has been finished.

Q: It’s borderline unplayable. A: I don’t care at this point tbh.
