River's Tribal Shoes

Adds three pairs of neolithic-tech shoes. Originally a small expansion on the Vanilla Apparel Expanded mod, this mod can now stand alone.

I love VE's addition of shoes, but it seemed unfair to me that neolithic-tech shoes didn't exist in-game, even though shoes, of course, were invented across basically every culture thousands of years ago. This mod adds simple wooden sandals, leather moccasins loosely inspired by North American plains tribe Indians, and mukluks vaguely inspired by Inuit/Eskimo peoples.

Sandals

They don't offer much in the way of armor, but they're vegan-friendly and they protect your pawns from the heat.

Moccasins

They take longer to craft than VE's boots, but they're decent at protection.

Mukluks

They take a long time and a lot of material to make, but these cold-weather specialized leather boots will keep your pawns' feet nice and toasty!

All three give pawns a small speed boost.

Q: Does it work with Combat Extended? A: It should.

Q: Shoes for kids when??? A: Probably never. If Vanilla Expanded adds shoes for kids to their apparel mods I may follow suit but it is not currently on my to-do list. Thank you, however, for your enthusiasm. :)
