Death Rattle - Biosculpter Patch

Description

This mod will patch the Ideology Biosculpter Pod's Regen cycle to replace internal organs you need to live.

By default losing these organs is immediately fatal but with death rattle you may have a short amount of time to get a pawn into a pod to regrow these missing organs.

This mod can technically be run without Death Rattle, to allow missing lungs or kidneys to be regrown.

Known Issues

So far I have only tested for using the pod to replace a missing heart. Initial entry into the pod did not state it would fix the no pulse death however this was removed upon cycle finish.

Compatibility

The mod has been tested in a heavily modified save and I have not found any conflicts.

Note: For those with issues when using Rimpy please use the following steps: Go to the location of the RimPy Database (Such as "C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1847679158\db") Open the db.json file with a text editor Locate the modid's "Troopersmith1.DeathRattle" or "trojan.deathrattle" Delete the entry and make sure the list is not messed up! Delete from the previous "}," to the following "{" (the comma between the two entries is important!!) (Thank you to 9bananas for these steps)

Future Updates

It might be nice for balance to either only provide one kidney and lung at most to avoid being able to reproduce organs for selling, but at the same time that's also totally something some Rimworld players would love to do...

This mod has been created by me, SpaceMoth! A mod I quickly put together after a raid left a pawn without a heart and only a few moments to live, with barely enough time to shove them in the biosculpture pod. I was sad to see this did not save their life once they came out however... hence this mod!

This mod is available on GitHub with the GNU GPL v3 License so please feel free to take a look to help develop your own mods!

I will aim to update my mods within a couple weeks of any major update! Please feel free to suggest ideas of additional mods. New mod creation can take some time but I am welcome to ideas. Please note my skills are in scripting and coding, and I have very little ability when it comes to art and assets.
