Too Many Mods - Compats and Rebalances

Do not report any bugs to any other mod authors unless you can reproduce the issue without this mod (or any other unrelated mods).

Overview

This mod contains:

• Compats and integrations between anything I could think of, including genes, recipes, traits, memes, factions, styles, inspirations, backstories etc.

• Rebalances of genes, weapons, apparels, implants etc.

• Tweaks, fixes, nitpicks, performance patches, aspirations, custom base generations and structures etc.

for a lot of mods.

I’m not expecting you to go through all 60 pages of the text-only documentation. Just don’t blame me later if you encounter some unexpected changes.

Options

• Rebalances and some tweaks are optional.

• Options can be found in "Options - Mod options - Too Many Mods".

• The game needs to be reloaded in order for most options to work.

• Sub-options are actually separate options.

Cherry Picker

• This mod doesn't remove anything on its own (with few exceptions). You need Cherry Picker to do that. Cherry Picker unofficial fork (1.6): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3521312241

• Contents in Cherry Picker list can be automatically unchecked. See Cherry Picker list for details.

Mid-save

• This mod is usually safe to add mid-save, but some changes are not retroactive. Backup the save and do it at your own risk.

Error on Startup

• If you saw an error on startup regarding this mod, it's likely one of the following:

• You have a mod conflict: another mod already touched something this mod also touches

• One of the patched mods updated and changed something this mod touches

• In any case, you don't need to worry: they just mean some patch of this mod was failed and not active. Regardless, please report it if you find any. I don't like red errors either.

Bug Reports

• Please specify the minimal set of mods required to reproduce the bug or error (and replication steps if it's not a red error on startup), and attach a HugsLib log unless you're sure that's unnecessary. Make sure this mod is involved.

• Any comments or bug reports that does not provide necessary information will be immediately deleted. (If you don't provide enough information for mod conflicts, I need to spend a lot of time figuring out what set of mods, that I don't use, is causing the error. If you don't provide enough information for unlikely reports, despite everything written here and a lot of other mod pages, that marks your report unreliable, and I need to infer it's likely one of those false claims that have wasted a lot of my time.)
