RimWorld has always been one of my favorite games, a place where storytelling, creativity, and chaos come together in the best possible way. For years, I dreamed of creating something for it, something personal.

VV - New Harvest is my very first mod, and it’s the result of that long-time passion finally taking shape. It started as a simple idea: more plants, more color, more farming joy. But it quickly grew into a much bigger project, one I’m proud to share with you. Whether you’re a farming fanatic like me or just want new things to grow, I hope you enjoy what I’ve put together!

VV - New Harvest transforms your RimWorld experience with a massive botanical boost:

100 new plants , thoughtfully grouped into eight distinct categories to expand and enrich your gameplay.

And that’s only the start. VV - New Harvest goes beyond farming, introducing new fruits, vegetables, nuts, mushrooms, forage crops, herbal medicines, construction and textile resources, and beautiful flowers. Every addition brings more variety, immersion, and new possibilities for your colony.

Hungry colonists? No problem. Grow a colorful mix of grains, vegetables, and legumes that'll spice up your meals and fill your fields with life. Millet, Teff, Amaranth, Quinoa, White Turnip, Parsnip, Leek, Black Bean, Broccoli, Spinach, Artichoke, Asparagus, Red Cabbage and Tomatillo.

From sweet berry bushes to unusual fruit-bearing cacti, these wild plants bring new flavors and diversity to your colony's harvest. Blackcurrant, Rosehip, Blackberry, Cranberry, Dragon Fruit and Apple Cactus.

Build orchards full of exotic trees. Collect fruits and nuts, or just enjoy the view. These trees bring beauty and bounty. Sour Cherry, Apricot, Quince, Medlar, Mulberry, Papaya, Grapefruit, Pomegranate, Durian, Walnut, Hazelnut, Jabuticaba, Cashew, Chestnut, Pecan, Stone Pine, Lime, Persimmon, Cherry Plum and Sugar Maple.

Step into the world of fungi. From prized delicacies to dangerous poisons, mushrooms add a new layer of risk and reward to your colony’s survival. Black Truffle – a highly valuable delicacy. King Bolete, Chanterelle, Morel and Parasol Mushroom – edible mushrooms. Oyster Mushroom and Shiitake Mushroom – edible wood-growing fungi. Fly Agaric, Jack O’Lantern Mushroom and Fool’s Funnel – poisonous mushrooms.

Well-fed animals make for a strong colony. Grow new forage crops and produce quality animal feed for your livestock. Alfalfa, Clover, Timothy Grass, Feed Corn, Feed Wheat and Feed Beet.

Bring herbal healing to your colony with a vibrant mix of medicinal plants, perfect for soothing wounds, curing illness, and calming the mind. Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Yarrow, Marshmallow, Nettle, Thyme, Echinacea, Lavender, Calendula, Valeriana, Wormwood, Linden, Ginkgo and Hawthorn.

Plants with great potential. These plants aren’t just eye candy - they supply fibers for clothes, tough wood for building, and a bunch of awesome materials that kick your colony’s industry into high gear. Ebony, Mahogany, Rosewood, Cedar and Lacquer Tree - for new wood types. Cork, Rubber, Rattan and Reed - for new universal resources. Jute, Ramie and White Mulberry - for new textile resources.

Decorative plants to bring life to your colony’s gardens and interiors. From delicate blossoms to lush greenery, they add color and charm to every space. Gerbera, Begonia, Calla Lily, Tulip, Petunia, Primrose, Orchid, Venus Flytrap, Golden Barrel Cactus, Monstera, Aubrieta, Ivy, Dymondia, Lilac, Hydrangea and Wisteria.

• Do I need other mods for VV - New Harvest to work?

• No! This mod is fully standalone and does not require any additional mods. However, if you want the new plants to naturally spawn in the wild, you’ll need to use VV - New Harvest: Compatibility Patches.

• Is it compatible with other mods?

• Yes! VV - New Harvest works well with most popular mods. For extra compatibility fixes, make sure to also install VV - New Harvest: Compatibility Patches, which takes care of cross-mod adjustments.

• Can I add the mod to an existing save?

• Yes! You can safely add VV - New Harvest to your current game. However, removing the mod during gameplay may cause errors or instability.

• Are there plans to add more plants?

• No. 100 plants are already more than enough!

• Does the mod affect game performance?

• The performance impact is minimal. VV - New Harvest uses only basic XML definitions and does not overwrite any vanilla files, making it quite lightweight.

• Are previous versions of the mod available for download?

• Yes! The latest and all earlier versions are available HERE 💾
