Alien | Rimworld

Overview

Adds the monster and related traits, diseases and other features of the Alien Franchise to Rimworld. Supporting three distinct playstyles:

• Try to survive as a human colony against the parasitic organism

• Tame the horror and wield it for your benefit

• Play as the so called 'perfect organism' and subsume the Rimworld in your hive.

This mod adds the entirety of the life cycle of the Alien as depicted in the franchise films, including alternate paths from extended editions, full support for biotech xenotypes and genes for non-human hosts as well as an easily implemented framework for adding support to modded animals as well.

Q: Is this Save Game Compatible A: No, you are on your own if you try to add it to an existing save, I will not fix bugs reported if you add it to an existing save, I definitely won't if you then try to remove it.

Q: How do I do X? A: Explore, try and find out, or hop on the Discord and ask. Tutorial Help Items are To Be Implemented.

Q: I have a Bug What do I do? A: Report it in the Public Bug Report Channel on the Discord bugs reported in steam replies or discussions will no longer be considered, but they may be addressed if other testing uncovers them.

Q: How do I patch an Animal Mod or integrate this Mod with my own? A: Good news! I've put in a lot of work to make that as painless and XML only as possible, join the Discord and then ask for the Other Mod Author role.
