Additional Hero Backgrounds

What does this do?

This is a collaboration between me and other talented modders to bring a curated selection of additional modded hero characters as background wallpapers.

Do I need the associated mods for the respective background to appear?

You need the Charmweaver, Gnoblin, Mushkin, Geist, and Kabouter mods for the respective wallpapers to appear. This is because they are races that can only be understood if their content exists in your world.

Will there be more?

Lots more! I just wanted to get this out as I only work on these every once and a while. These are just the ones I have ready that are to my standard, and this is an ongoing project that I'm still working on. If you are a modder and want to supply folks to this, leave a comment! Xenotypes that will be released soon will also be included here, and some wallpapers have even been designed for them. As I figure out how best to compose them as wallpapers, they will be put here.

Does this replace existing backgrounds?

Yes. In the majority of cases this replaces the existing character-less versions of the wallpapers.

• Vanilla Expanded: Hero Backgrounds, which works perfectly alongside this mod and will help round out the art style.
