Load in Background

What is this?

This mod lets the game load while the game is running in the background. So you can alt tab while your map is generating or whatnot, and do something else and your game will be ready to play when you click back on the game.

Isn't there a 'Run in Background' option in base game?

Precisely, and this functionality is replicated here but just for the loading screens. The reason you would use this mod instead of just turning on that toggle is that the game will still pause if you alt tab or focus on other windows when using this mod with that option toggle off. This lets you have the game load in the background regardless of what you toggle that as. You can run this mod and that option in tandem as well if you like.

Is this for game startup?

No, that already loads in the background. This is for all other forms of loading, such as generating maps, opening the world map, loading a save, etc. Previously these forms of loading would never finalize without you being clicked in, and would still require up to 15 seconds of additional loading time requiring you clicked into the app.

What about borderless?

I cannot speak to borderless, I don't use it. This is all to windowed and fullscreen.
