This is a brand-new storyteller for you, which gives you a bit more control over your game, or alternatively lets you try your luck at a whim.

Meet Chester

Chester is a locally renowned street magician who often includes his dog Rico in his tricks. He has always had a fondness for the agency found in the minds of young children he performs for, who remind him of someone he once lost. He believes an unburdened mind shall always be able to make a choice for good, even in a world that so often keeps us apart.

The central mechanic

This storyteller gives you the opportunity to pick which event happens. Chester will deal you a hand, and you decide which event actually ends up occurring.

Play the game of your choosing

Chester allows you to modify the way he will play with you.

• When draws will occur, whether on bad events, neutral ones, or none at all

• How many cards will be drawn

• Whether the deck should act like Randy Random or Cassandra Classic

• Whether you can draw the same event type twice in one hand

• Whether you can do blind draws, and how many should be drawn

• Whether you can shuffle your hand and redraw

• Whether event scores should be shown

The blind draw

If you enable it with Chester, you will also have a draggable card deck on your screen that you can pick from any time to get a random event. Try your luck!

Who is this made for?

This is meant for people who want a bit more control over their game, but don't want to have the express power of say that exist in storytellers like Victor or Romina.
