Adds programmable vents which lets you set a target temperature. Now with an over-wall variant!
This mod will add a vent which only lets air flow with conditions based on the temperature of the two rooms it connects. You'll be able to make better use of temperature-changing devices, ambient temperature and save energy.
The logic is quite simple; the air will only flow in these conditions:
- Room 1 T° ≤ Target T° ≤ Room 2 T°
- Room 1 T° ≥ Target T° ≥ Room 2 T° This means it will let the air flow only when it would help a room reach the target temperature.
Programmable vents consume 20w and cost 50 steel & 1 component. Please post feedback if you feel like I could improve on anything!
Compatible with existing games, should not cause any compatibility issues!

Load order & compatibility : This mod patches the Defs files for the Vent item by adding and setting the attribute "Name" to "Vent". If you use Replace Stuff by Uuugggg, you should load it before ProgramVents.
