The enigma machine rebuild into scrap mechanic

3 dials with 8 possibilities are converted into binary , then split into 3 dials, 5 bit per dial, these 3 dials represent the 3 wheels in a real enigma machine, they simulate how a real enigma machine would dial them in logic gates.

between the keyboard and the actual dials there's a bunch of straight connections which represents the plugboard of a real enigma machine, crosswiring them will simulate a real plugboard (crossing X->R and R->X for example)

this version of the enigma machine also cycles the dials as you are typing something so be sure to start at the same code when decrypting as when encrypting!

also also: this version doesn't have the flaw the real enigma had where one letter could never translate to the same letter, this flaw made it possible to crack the enigma, mine is in theory not crackable, tho brute forcing can ofc do anything. altogether it would take a while tho as this version has 532 septillion possibilities!!
