PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION

EDIT: The boats now have fewer drag blocks so they should lag way less, and youll no longer have that rapid spinning glitch when the gun mount breaks.

If you ever wondered what PTO battles would feel like on the water, you now have your answer! Introducing the new PTO Battleboat Assembly Station, which contains everything a single PTO player needs to outfit their ship for battle.

HOW TO MAKE A PROPER PTO MAP:

-When setting up a PTO Battleboat Map, you must place one of these Assembly Stations at each of the four corners of the map.

-Next, you must place PTO Gun Floats (and weld various PTO guns to them) throughout the map. NOTE: The mapmaker should place better PTO guns (such as PTO Burstera, PTO Mega Auto, and PTO Sweeper) in more difficult locations so they are harder to access.

-Another item you must scatter about are PTO Repair Floats, which players will use to fix their vehicles.

-In a centralized location, you must place the PTO Battleboat Water creation and weld it down. Before the round starts, keep the water at a shallow level. Only raise the water once all 4 players have left their Assembly Stations.

-OPTIONAL: You may also scatter partially destroyed battleboats throughout the map that players can use for repairs, but youll have to make those yourself.

STANDARD PTO RULES: -Each player gets one Battleboat Assembly station at one of the 4 corners of the map. The goal is to equip your vehicle with your chosen firearm to destroy the opponents.

-A player is considered "out" when their vehicle is no longer capable of movement (or sunk), but a player can repair a moving boat using large floating cardboard crates scattered about the map. To use a crate, simply chisel out a part from the cardboard and weld it to your vehicle. You are allowed to weld the Repair Crate's wood floats onto your vehicle, but if you remove too many the float will sink.

-Throughout the map there are special weapons that you can equip instead of your standard ones. just be sure to connect the red blocks together when welding them on.

-You may paint the vehicle however you want, but you cannot change the color of the RED, GREEN, or BLUE blocks.

-Players may use as much of a Repair Crate as they want to armor up their vehicle, but the more weight you add the heavier and slower your boat will be. Also, unlike in standard PTO, you must take into account the balance of the boat when adding armor. Players are also able to take any part from a destroyed battleboat AND wire them up. This includes thrusters, switches, bearings, and other equipment.

-If a player falls off their battleboat and cant reach the rear hatch, they are allowed to use any means necessary (including towering or spawning a flier) to get back to their boat. HOWEVER, other players are allowed to destroy an unoccupied boat.

Heres a tour of the equipment:

LOADING BAY: Inside each of the Drydock's two pillars is an elevator that can take you up to the top. The activation switch is on the floor of the elevator.

UPPER RIGGING: In the middle of the rig holding the battleboat youll find a valve switch. Use this to lower the boat into the water after you have selected your chosen gun. To disengage the boat from the crane, delete the PINK CAUTION TAPE BLOCKS.

TOP DECK: This is where youll get your starting PTO guns. At the start, each player may only use one of the 3 guns available. In order to use the guns, pull the lime green lever to raise the gun rack, delete the pink pipe beneath your chosen gun, and weld the RED BLOCK on the gun to the RED BLOCK on your battleboat. Finally, wire up the gun's button to the driver's seat and youre done!

THE GUNS:

GREEN Automatic Rifle- useful for laying down a constant stream of spuds, what the auto rifle lacks in damage it makes up for in consistency. Its able to easily knock out the wheels of opponents, but suffers a bit when it comes to breaking other armored areas. NOTE: The rifle has an overheat mechanic where firing for too long will lower an arm to block your shots. Pace yourself when firing to prevent this.

BROWN T Shotty- The first shotgun almost guaranteed to NOT crash your game, the T fires spuds in volleys of 6 to punch holes through armor.

BLUE Burst Rifle- The most consistent and stable of the 3 starter guns, the BR bridges the gap between high damage and constant fire. NOTE: The BR has two controls, a button and a switch, instead of just one button. The switch activates the "piston scope" which can also be used to push enemies away.

THE BATTLEBOAT- -Each Battleboat is equipped with 4 forward jets, 6 reverse jets (which are weaker) a RED mount block for your chosen gun, and other interactive parts. The light grey wood blocks on the bottom of the craft are how the Battleboat floats, and losing too many will render your craft useless.

-The BLUE block is the boat's driver's seat, and pressing 1/2 while in the seat will raise your gun up and down. At the rear of the boat there is a seat which you can use to lower yourself into the water. If you fall from your boat, shooting the switch on the back of this rear hatch will cause it to open.

-The lever in front of the driver's seat is used to raise and lower the two additional floats on the front of the vehicle. When active, these help tilt the boat back while carrying heavier guns. Adding more wood to the floats will increase their strength. You can usually find more wood floats on either broken Battleboats or the floating Repair Crates.
