Tomoco International SAR

Tomoco is very proud to introduce its first truck in a long time and its first semi trailer truck ever: the International SAR.

The Beginning of the International started a long time ago. It was initially intended to be a cab-over with a compartment at the back. However the prototype was scrapped half way through. Upon doing a lot more thorough research on trucks, I was able to make this beauty. Its Inspired by Kenworth's SAR trucks. SAR stands for: Short bonnet Australian Right hand drive. Yes folks this is an Australian truck.

It is powered by Tomocos largest standard engine: RD6T-1 a Big turbo diesel 6 with plenty of power. The high engine power and stiff rear suspension allows the truck to pull heavy loads nicely. It has all standard features with a very nice and compact living compartment behind the cab, complete with a bed and some shelves. The view from the cab is really good too. Optimisation is quite good on this truck, it only has 4 springs and 10 bearings.

This truck has some neat details too! Credit goes to David Baguetta for the turntable and the horns. Even with these details the truck still holds a nice clean look. Not only that it is compatible with David Baguettas Mack trailers.
