This is a model replica of the class N-1 and S-2 Berkshire steam locomotives, or more commonly known as, The Polar Express locomotives. The model is built using real reference images and technical drawings of Nickel Plate Road no. 765, and Pere Marquette no. 1225 for accuracy. The locomotive is built using all-vanilla parts (except for the 9u driver wheels) on the 200mm/u scale for correct proportion to the 7u gauge track.

This build features 100% piston power outputting a maximum tractive effort of 60 kN. Note: X's Train Mod is only required for the 9 block diameter driver wheels of which no vanilla equivalent exists.

Locomotive operation;

-Requires a block update upon spawning off of lift (place and remove a block on the locomotive body). -Use on simple physics 4 or lower.

Controls;

1- Throttle 2- Reverser 3- High speed mode (increases power once at higher speeds) 4- Reduced power (use when starting a train consist, pulling train cars around corners, etc.)

Pulling Consists;

-Use physics 2 or 3. -Maximum consist length: 12 cars (based on 3,500 kg/car). -Use the provided coupler (do not weld train cars to the locomotive). -For consists longer than 3 cars, use the drag reducer on each of the cars and the locomotive for better simulation of momentum (do not do this if all of the cars are welded).
