Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI - since I consider this a proper rally car, I've tried to play around with the suspension a little more than I usually do with sports cars. The front uses a simplified MacPherson strut, similar to what I've used before on my Audi Quattro and the rear uses a standard double wishbone suspension. With this setup I tried to stay close to the real-life variant that uses a MacPherson strut in the front and multi-link suspension in the back. I did not use multi-link on my creation because that would be a nightmare to develop in SM, so I used double wishbone, which is similar in principle. Both the front and rear suspension also make use of piston based damping and a stabiliser (torsion bar) that I've come up with.

I've set the suspension up so that the car sits stationary at around 50 % travel (2 blocks of ground clearance). The damping is faster in the front for added agility and slower in the back to stay even with the terrain. Springs are stiffer in the back to reduce squatting and the torsion bar allows more independent behavior in the front to help with turning and is more aggressive in the back to help the car stay level. These settings can all be tuned to completely change the way the car handles. If you want to play around with these settings, there are 3 separate controllers both in the front and the back: Blue controller takes care of damping speed, red controller controls when the piston damping engages and the green one controls how much independent behavior will the torsion bar enable.
