How to play (step by step setup): THERE IS A VIDEO EXPLAINING EVERYTHING AS WELL. Spawn the chess board in your world, preferably in a flatworld. Then weld the board to the ground to prevent massive amounts of lag. A decent computer with a decent CPU should be able to handle it fine, i do recommend lowest graphics settings however. You can enter the chess board cube from two sides, the sides are marked with either white or black for either opponent, you'll get into a lobby with a staircase to your left, that staircase leads up to a balcony overview that can be useful when playing. There is a door to the chess board in the lobby, and there's a switch that opens the door. But first, what you gotta do before you enter the chess board, is to press the beige button by the switch that opens the door to the chess board to reset the wall of death from flickering. (Check my photos on the workshop page to see all the mechanics) As you enter the board, you'll be presented by a chess board with colored buttons on each square. The GREEN is the PAWN. The BLUE is the ROOK. MAGENTA is KNIGHT. RED is BISHOP. YELLOW is QUEEN. and CYAN is KING. (we'll get to white and black buttons shortly) To the left and right, color coded with either black or white, there are two "WALLS OF DEATH" that shows what pattern each color has for reference. Try pressing the color green on one of the squares and a pattern will appear. Do not press several buttons on one square, they do not reset each other, if you press the blue after green for example, both green and blue patterns will be lit up, you can press blue or green again to remove that specific pattern aka chess piece and one of them will remain. There is a PINK switch on each square as well, try pressing it. As you'll notice, the Chess Piece flips from either Black color, to White color, or vice versa, that is how you know which pieces are yours, and which are you opponents. Killing an opponents piece with one of your pieces will require you to turn off your piece, and your opponents piece, and put your piece on his square, then press the PINK button to switch color to either Black or White, depending what you are playing as. So how do i keep track of dead pieces? That's where the BLACK and WHITE buttons comes into play, these two buttons are on every square as well. To remove a pawn from the board, for example, you first need to press either the WHITE or the BLACK button to indicate which teams piece is dead. When you press the WHITE or the BLACK button, the white and/or black 'X's on the wall up front will start to blink, this indicates that the next color you or your opponent presses will count as dead. If you've pressed WHITE button, and then GREEN(pawn) button, ONE of the GREEN pieces will be unlit on the "WALL OF DEATH" on the white players side. You can do this for all chess pieces, including the king. There is also two more neat little things. On the wall up front of either player, there's a screen showing an overview of the entire board game with the lit up squares indicating there's an active chess piece there. And lastly, you can reset your sides "WALL OF DEATH" on the dark green button to the right by the door you entered to get into the chess board.

Note: There is no reset of the entire board, you have to set the board up yourself with all the chess pieces before and after playing. I could not include such a thing because the connections were so many i couldn't see what i was doing.

Tip: Put down your lift and click on a smaller creation. This will prevent the in-game workshop from constantly loading the blueprint of the chess board and thus reduce lag.

TLDR: GREEN = Pawn BLUE = Rook MAGENTA = Knight RED = Bishop YELLOW = Queen CYAN = King BLACK = Kills a chess piece of indicated color for the black player. WHITE = Kills a chess piece of indicated color for the white player. PINK = Flips the chess piece color between Black and White. DARK GREEN - Resets specific player sides Wall of Death BEIGE - Master reset for Wall of Death
