ECy 5842 'The Party' Motorhome

Spacious, luxurious and fun motorhome with a large party deck for endless open-air action!

Bring the party to your friends! The vehicle lures you into a cozy sleeping room for four persons in an elevated area that also features a large sofa and a television with a nice hi-fi system, a kitchen, a bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub as well as a large table where you can eat or play games with the family. Below the TV/sleeping area are the tanks for LPG as well as fresh- and wastewater and a lot of room for your luggage. The sleeping area and bathroom come with dark tinted glass to ensure your privacy. Once you switch on the bathroom lights, a red signal will inform your family that the room is in use.

The switch behind the driver's seat makes the roof accessible. There, you'll find twelve seats for your friends to sit on while they savor the barbecue sensations you prepare on the humongous grill/rotisserie. They will quench their thirst with ice-cold drinks from the bar - there are six taps for the best refreshments you can come up with!

And of course, there's the dance floor featuring a high-quality sound system powered by music library that will last for months - just make sure you get some sleep inbetween sessions!

The vehicle itself is extremely heavy. It also turns like a whale that has been stranded for a month. (We'll probably make a somewhat smaller and a lot lighter version with more agile behavior if there's demand.) I tried with all-wheel steering, which makes the vehicle very pleasant to drive, but I needed 36 more bearings which hurt frame rates so bad I didn't feel like putting it on the workshop. If you're interested in trying it nevertheless, send a request.

The 5842 features twin diesel engines crafted by Skata (at least that's what it says when it's on the lift, it's published by Diesel Doktorn, though) that are accessible through covers on each side of the vehicle; there is an additional service hatch in the floor of the sleeping room.

The vehicle is based on the Ironclad 59 passenger concept vehicle. The floor was lowered (except for the rear part that houses the two engines and some tech), the front shortened a bit, the doors were adjusted and of course the roof was completely redesigned. To make the steering work at all, each wheel is fitted with three active steering bearings.
