World on Fire

Welcome to thatguy60606's World on Fire modification for Hearts of Iron IV! This mod aims completely scramble the history of the past few centuries and pick up in the 1930s, known for being a volitile era. Many things are very different from what they were before as fractured Europeon powers struggle to cooperate with each other. This means that the dominant colonial powers in Europe would fail to keep control of or put down natives in Africa, India, Asia, and Oceana.

Play as: Brandenburg: embrace unitarism, establishing yourself as the dominant German power! Austria: try to hold on to the crumbling Holy Roman Empire and restore it to its once glorious state! The Italian Union: free the workers who have been shackled by the oppressive European Monarchs! Castille: combat both European and colonial foes as native uprisings and political stife threaten your empire! Muscovy: unite the Rus and drive the muslims out of the caucuses and Central Asia! The Hong Dynasty: dodge through a field of internal power struggles while keeping the Europeans at bay! An Indochinese Clique: dominate the region and kick the Castillians out! A African State: unite against the European client states and their overlords to keep Africa free! The USA: attempt to finish off the dreams of manifest destiny while keeping the spread of colonialism to a minimium! The CSA: finally break free from the Imperialist yankees and gain your freedom! And many more!

While what is currently released is just a simple skeleton of a mod, I have big plans and great ambitions for what I would like to see it become. Bear with me as this mod is a HUGE WORK IN PROGRESS. I released the mod simply to get its name out there and pique some interest.

EDIT: Next release is probably going to be a total revamp, guys. I was extremely disappointed with the half-assed, unfinished, and broken mod I handed out with promises of things which, being the ameture that I am, would not have been able to provide. I am seriously sorry for disappointing you guys with this absolute garbage and sore excuse for a "mod." If you stick with me for a while (and I understand if you wish to abandon this mod, it kinda clogs up your mod list) I will notify you all as to when I fix my issues, become more skilled with modding, and less likely to sell snake-oil to you all. I promise to see you all on the next releasal, revamp, sequal, whatever you wanna call it, of World on Fire (it will have the same name) and this new version will be much much more complete at launch than this huge disappointment.
