Nation Renaming

MOD CURRENTLY IS DISCONTINUED!

After over 2000 hours of HOI4, I'm semi burned out and don't have the passion to devote so much time to continue updating this mod with more countries and there's only so much work load a singular person can handle, however users Coolzero319, History Hicks and Mughals have took it upon themselves to create a revisit of this mod in good faith which is updated to the latest HOI4 version with more names for even more countries! You can find the mod here! I may continue developing this mod in future however I have absolute faith that Coolzero319, History Hicks and Mughals's revisit will nail the original concept!

If you're looking for a mod that just changes the default localisation files to have the full names, this might be the mod for you.

Currently, all majors and minor-majors are done.

This mod gives you the ability to change your countries name and your subjects from a given list. It will also change the countries colour to better fit the name.

This mod will not be ironman compatible and everyone needs the mod if used on multiplayer. Should be compatable with just about any other mod because it doesn't change any base files however, I'd need to make era specific submods for mods like The Great War mod as some nations would have different names then.

The criteria to change your name is to be the right ideology and to be fully independent. The mod somewhat serves an RP aspect to the game I guess.
