Advanced Difficulty Settings

This is a difficulty customisation interface that gives you various ways to buff the AI. How is it different from the vanilla difficulty settings?

• You can change these settings any any point during your campaign to make things easier or harder as you see fit.

• There are several different types of difficulty modes to choose from: several types dynamic settings that selectively buff AI countries based on circumstances and country settings that set difficulty modes for specific countries.

• Every AI country in the game can be configured.

• These buffs focus mostly on the AI's industry and give them much higher bonuses than the vanilla settings. There are no negative modifiers for the player and no buffs to the AI's units.

Information:

• This is a light version of the configuration interface in Expert AI 4.0. This does not (and will not) include all the functions of the main version nor should this be used while Expert AI is enabled.

• The configuration window is opened from the top-right button or with the shortcut CTRL-SHIFT-O.

• Does it improve the AI? No, use Expert AI for that.

Compatibility:

• This mod does not edit any of the HOI4 files so it should not conflict with any other mod. However, some difficulty settings may not work properly with overhaul mods that completely change the equipment files.

• Not achievement compatible.

• Multiplayer compatible.
