The Republic of Molossia

NOTICE: This mod is no longer supported, as I stopped playing this game shortly after the release. Even though I enjoyed the process and had big dreams, I ran out of time to learn further. It was never updated and might not work any more. Sorry it's been over 3 years. I support whoever makes a new molossia mod, and you may use whatever you want from this mod, including my self-made portraits and Ideas. This is an alternate history mode created soley by me. This is my first mod, and is open to harsh critizism, so please leave your feedback in the comments!

I am very aware that the focus tree is in high demand. I hear it here, and from my friends. There is no focus tree yet; as i am learning how to make one. I will remove this line when i am ready.

There were a few Molossia mods on the workshop, however none of them were very accurate to the real Republic of Molossia in Nevada. They were all the size of the state itself. This one is much smaller than that, and only takes up one province, with the astounding 33 manpower the country has today.

About the country:

The tag is RML. As of right now, it has a generic focus tree, but I will add my own in the future to make this mod actually playable. Molossia starts out non aligned, but is stained with influence from its communist past. The AI leaders all dislike Germany, as a reference to the never-ending war with East Germany. Molossia is neutral, and will have a focus tree in the future that will allow you to have more fun playing it. Neutrality and Democratic are nearly useless allignments, so i want to give it some love.

When the Great Depression struck the United States, His Excellency President Grand Admiral Colonel Doctor Kevin Baugh, President of Molossia, Protector of the Nation and Guardian of the People, born many years before he was in real life, was finally able to gain independence from the USA. He seized quite a bit more land than any thought, turning all of Carson City and Dayton into his state. However, nobody really wants to fight for him, leaving President Baugh at his orginal 33 manpower.

Although nothing short of being comparable to an ant, Molossia sees itself as- well... a fire ant.

Due to The Republic of Molossia taking up so much land, the rest of world saw they were only a little less powerful than Bhutan, and were forced to regognize them as a possible threat.

Who will teach them not to underestimate the power of the mouse that roared?

A league of Micronational officals from around the world have assembled to form the ultimate alliance, and are available as politcal advisors.

That is where the Government comes in. Molossia may be small, but they are not without their inner political struggle.

His Excellency President Grand Admiral Colonel Doctor Kevin Baugh, President of Molossia, Protector of the Nation and Guardian of the People, or Kevin Baugh, for short, set up the republic of Molossia, and denounces all acts of communism, imperialism, conquest, and terrorism. President Baugh has a hatred for Germany and the USSR for their endless genocides and conquests. Kevin Baugh is neutral, and denounces the communist influence. (future tree planned.)

After Molossia Denounced their provisional Communist Government, they still suffer from communist innfluence. King James I from the times of Vuldstein still lives on. King James is available to hire as the Communist Revolutionary, and with enough influence, will put Premier Baugh into power under the United Provinces of Utopia.

Douglas Walker, aka Nostalgia Critic, has an unknown reason to conquer Molossia. Some say its just for the fun of it, but we know its probably something stupid. The Critic will stop at nothing to take over Molossia and turn it into Kickassia, the fascist empire! The Critic is a Triumphant revolutionary, and a hedonist, and reduces stability due to his selfish and poor leadership. Doug Walker is available as an advisor, and will put the Critic in charge.

Lastley, Fritz von Baugh, the minister of keeping things orderly, denounces all malicious ideologies to preserve Molossia. However, Fritz also dreams of taking Molossia in a new direction and establishing a democracy. The minister of Frugality, Angus MacBaugh, is his assistant in the reformation. He is the Democratic Reformer, and will put Fritz von Baugh into power.
