IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO RENAME NATIONS USING THIS TECHNIQUE. RENAMING CITIES IS TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE BUT WOULD NOT ALLOW FOR AN USER FRIENDLY IMPLEMENTATION, THEREFORE I WILL NOT DO IT.

Rename your ruling party to whatever name you want, with your keyboard.
Just click on the Rename Ruling Party button near the popularity pie chart in the Politics tab (click on your flag in the corner).
Support for English, Russian (thanks to DRAFT) Polish and German keyboards is included. More keyboard languages to come.
Thanks to DRAFT for saving me the trouble of having to adapt the system to work for parties :)
Couple notes:
- Thanks to new modding features introduced in game version 1.9, all mods are now supported, including those that change the ideology.
- This is a real party rename (using set_party_name effect), there are no smoke and mirrors involved.
- In order for the party name to update in the Politics Tab, exit and reenter it.
- Both short and long names are changed. You cannot change either separately (it's possible, it will just take some more work to implement).
- No vanilla files are overwritten.
- The mod can be added and removed at any point.
- Renames persist through save games, and work in multiplayer (any player can rename their parties).
- You can type up to 32 characters.
- You can delete typed characters with Backspace.
- Some special characters are supported (exclamation marks, question marks, commas, etc.).
- If you are running the game in English, characters from other languages may not display correctly. That is due to how fonts work in HoI4.
It's not fully tested, so let me know if you notice any bugs.
Requires 1.9 or newer to work.
Is not Ironman compatible, and it is impossible to make it so.
