1961. An English admiral with the surname McBride finds an uninhabited island 300 by 300 km. The ship's crew founded a small colony of 12 people. Later, investors began to come here, who invested in the development of manufactories on the island. In 1734, a prison was built on the island, slaves were brought here, who were safely redeemed on bail for pennies and hired to work. By 1740, the island was discovered by merchant ships of other countries - France and Russia. Until 1745, the territories of the colonies were expanding. The colonies did not know about each other's location until they collided head-on. Local conflicts and even battles followed, neither side managed to achieve complete victory. By 1775, all three parties had met and discussed the creation of a common vassal government. One of Admiral McBride's descendants was chosen as the king. In 1792, the French were expelled from the island, in connection with the meeting of the first coalition. By the 19th century, the island was abandoned, poverty and hunger cut part of the population. An unknown fever prevailed on the island. A mysterious cult kidnapped people for sacrifice and wore masks similar to those of "plague doctors". As a result, at the end of the 19th century, the island was actually abandoned, mostly criminals, fugitives from the law and old-timers lived here. In 1914, after the outbreak of the First World War, the island was completely sold to Great Britain in exchange for loans. In 1917, there was a white emigration, participants of the Russian civil War flooded to the island. The local population did not support this initiative and decided to establish a republic using the example of the United States. The civil war of 1919-1920 began, which caused the overthrow of the monarchy. In 1921, a republic was established with presidential rule. By 1936, due to another rigged election, a military riot was raised in Quarantine City, the government was barely able to suppress the riot, reforms were made - each city of the commonwealth received a high level of autonomy In 1939, the island declared its neutrality in the WWII. By 1945, many German and French generals had fled to the island. In order not to destroy the weapons, they decided to take him to the Commonwealth. By the age of 50, there were a lot of World War II weapons on the island, especially German weapons. The next president who won the elections in 1956 could not solve internal problems. At the end of '59, a nuclear war broke out over the Cuban issue. In the coming months, most of the planet was destroyed by nuclear strikes. By the beginning of 1960, survivors from all sides reached out to the only island that was not hit by warheads. They easily occupied a small island to the north, but then they were stopped by disagreements in the field of politics. Small islands have split into many states. Some were huge, like a Community of Cities, some were small.

2 Island: In an alternate universe in 2018, a bunch of reporters find a mysterious cult that sends them along with workers to the fashion universe, they founded the main mining states. So the second island appeared.
