Finnish Equipment

Updated for 1.11 patch! Includes pratically all types of gear for Finland.

ABOUT THE MOD:

This mod adds specific historical technology / equipment to the in-game country known as Finland including:

• Infantry Gear
• Motorized, Mechanized and Armored Cars
• Artilery, Anti-Tank and Anti-Air weapons
• All types of Tanks (except most variants like SP Artilery) for non-NSB users
• Most types of Tank Chassis for NSB users
• All types of Airplanes (INCLUDING carrier variants!)

Also, on a side note, I decided to substitute the Finnish Hakaristi in order to avoid problems with Steam itself. Swastikas easily trigger people and Finland was forced by an Allied Comission to substitute it anyway by 1945, so it isn't that ahistorical either. Instead of the Finnish Hakaristi, you got the Finnish Cockade (White-Blue-White), which is what was used and is still being used by all branches of the armed forces.

FUTURE PLANS:

95% of the work is done, but I still intend to add one or another thing. Some of the current graphics might be improved, as well. Finland is only lacking some SP Artillery / SP AT / SP AA, Amtracs plus naval equipment. I haven't done these yet due to lack of time / information or simply because they never existed in the first place!

COMPATIBILITY:

The mod is ironman compatible since it doesn't change checksum. Should also be compatible with most other mods, unless they change something related with technology / current equipment for Finland. The mod doesn't require any DLC either. Works with campaigns in progress as well.

INFORMATION TO OTHER MODDERS:

I am somewhat reluctant to permit people to include this mod into a big compilation of mods or any sort of work, but depending on the work itself I might open exceptions, and I am usually very open minded so feel free to contact me in private (or here, but I might not check the mod that often so leave me a message on the comments' area of my profile) if you wish to do so.

You can however add a link to this or any workshop item of mine anywhere you want, without even asking. Same goes for steam collections.

CREDITS, DONATIONS AND MORE:

The mod was entirely my work. From coding to the images included - many of those images were actually taken from existing equipment from other nations, after all, many nations kept using the same equipment, and in the case of Finland, they kept buying and maintaining foreign equipment, and even licensing and producing foreign equipment locally (in some cases).
