The first ever World War I anime mod is here!
March forth onto the battlefields of the Great War with your fellow waifus. From the muddy trenches of the Western Front to the vast steppes of the Eastern Front, lead your favorite anime characters to victory in Fields of Anime! Every single portrait has been replaced with an anime counterpart, alongside immersive wallpapers and a special main theme, with more to come!
Fields of Anime is currently compatible with The Great War [Redux], with The Great War compatibility coming later.

Features
More than a thousand portraits of the Great War [Redux] all replaced by their anime counterparts! Division voice lines for many of the major nations! Something which is absent on the Great War mods. A few event pictures. WW1-themed loading screens and main theme.
Roadmap
More event and report pictures. More animefied GUI. Perhaps minister portraits. 3D model waifus.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this mod compatible for multiplayer? This is a graphics only mod so it will work.
Is this mod save game compatible? See above (so yes it should work as well). You can load a save game and anime portraits will replace the normal ones.
When ‘till the next update? When it’s ready. We'll ensure that updates get released in a finished state.
Will the male names turn into female names? No since a significant amount of portraits are art with no character name and changing names will also break Ironman compatibility.
Who is the girl/source for x? (plus loading screen source) You can ask for the girl/source in our Discord server (linked above) as maintaining a gallery with all the sources would be impossible.
I have discovered a bug/missing portrait/etc.! Go to our Discord and submit your issue there or just lodge it in the comments below.
